      The purpose of the Repair and Configuration Technician is to deliver warehouse level configuration data, provide hands on technical, diagnostics and repair work in a production environment.

      About the position:

      • Consistent pay: $22.50/hour; Hourly wage also depends on the the level of Tech experience 1-5 so it can go up to $27.50
      • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
      • Requirements:
        • MUST HAVE Tech experience
        • Basic computer knowledge
        • Warehouse Experience preferred but not required
        • Experience with computer repairs, hookup and imaging, fixing and ordering parts
      • Other requirements: Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug test

      Requirements

      • High Diploma or equivalent perferred
      • Two (2) years or more expert experience with PCs and peripherals hardware and assembly
      • Two (2) years or more experience in desk-side support of all Microsoft Windows environments
      • A+ Certification preferred
      • MCSA and Net+ Certifications preferred

      Responsibilities

      • Configure computer systems (hardware and software) and other related equipment for external customers
      • Diagnose and repair PC related systems within the warehouse environment using technical skills, hardware and software knowledge and troubleshooting techniques to maintain the expected system performance and production levels
      • Assess and repair PCs and peripherals requiring service to return them to full functionality
      • Configure PCs hardware and software to required specifications. Establish all connection points between PCs and network, troubleshooting applications and related problems
      • Provide system solutions to operating requirements using personal analytical skills and knowledge to facilitate production processes and enhance productivity
      • Train lower level tier technicians to improve their job responsibility regarding system applications using training aids and operating procedures
      • Ensure PCs have licenses for applicable software
      • ISO Compliance
      • Internal/External Audits
      • Maintain Ryder Safety & Security procedures
      • Work as a material handler, as needed
      • Performs other duties as assigned
